Simply bring in an acceptable form of payment (cash or debit card only), and in a matter of minutes, you can send funds to family or friends. If you wish, you can provide a "test question" for the recipient; that way, the recipient does not need to show ID, yet you can be assured that the intended person receives the funds.
WHAT TO BRING
- If sending more than $1000, you must provide a current, government-issued ID (driver's license, state ID, passport (or passport card), alien ID card, tribal ID, or military ID)
- If sending more than $3000, you must also present your Social Security card
The recipient simply shows the appropriate information (Money Transfer Control Number, or MTCN) at the pick-up location (often a supermarket, convenience store, or check cashing outlet). The recipient must show valid, government ID (or be able to answer the sender's test question). It's that easy!
